Lagoa da Jansen

        Lagoa da Jansen is an Ecological Park that includes a beautiful lagoon and 6,000 square meters with restaurants, sports courts, bike paths, jogging trail and lots of open space. The park was inaugurated 2001 by the governor, Roseana Sarney, and short thereafter became the hot spot in town for residents and visitors alike. A great spot to visit is the Mirante da Lagoa, where one can enjoy a panoramic view of the City.
