Praia da Ponta d'Areia
Only 4 kilometers from downtown, it is one of the busiest beaches due to easy access, hotels, restaurants and its numerous reggae clubs. It is also very close to the Parque Ecológico da Lagoa da Jansen.

Praia de São Marcos
Around 7 kilometers from downtown at the beginning of the Avenida Litorânea, Sao Marcos is a very popular site among the youngsters and the surfers. It has many bars and an exciting nightlife.

Praia do Calhau
Located along the Litoranea, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the City.

Praia do Olho d'Água
Surrounded by the Olho d"Agua hills it is perfect for sailing and wind surfing because of the strong winds, especially between July and December. Also popular is the practice of soccer in O'lho d'Agua as well as most of the local beaches.
